I love the old terminator films as well.

And it brings up the age old question of what stops AI from turning against us when the time comes. And it is a question we should consider taking more seriously in the modern era.

I also liked the first Robocop, especially the satire of unregulated capitalism and greed.



My favorite film in recent times is Elysium, which is a realistic depiction of what the future holds if we continue on the neoliberal path. A planet full of an impoverished underclass with the wealthy living the high life far away from the suffering (that they cause) below.

I fully agree, though they could of did a slight better with RoboCop 2, the 3rd was like complete dumpster fire trash, I agree with the question about the AI.

Only issue with the terminator franchise is that they keep on making sequels to it.

Like, how often are they going to tell the same story?

Oh I know, I thought Rise of the Machines was meh, didn't bother with Salvation, I did watch Genesis which I thought was boring, don't get me started on Dark Fate. That SUCKED.


I did love the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie, I've not seen a damn good one in years but that one was AWESOME.

The Austin powers movies are pretty funny though.
